I've been very creative lately! Next to knitting I love to sew!
This all started with me wanting to make tribal clothes!
First I started to make bow ties!
one of the bow ties
I realized I was an 'ok' sewer so I got a little bit more ambitious!
My next goal was to make a shirt!
Because I didn't have white fabric I used my curtains lol
Pulled them from my window and started to cut in them and it was all worth it cause yes people, I made that shirt happen just like I wanted! The down part is that my neighbors can look straight into my room but hey, at least I'll look stylish when they do
picture taken with my webcam, sorry for the poor quality
This is my sleeveless shirt.
The white/beige-ish part is (actually was) my curtain
Color pallet: Navy blue-ish, cherry red-ish, white/beige-ish
Pic.1: I used an African fabric for the shoulder area in this double arch form.
Pic.2: When I flip the collar up you can see that I also used the fabric for the back of the collar! Thought it was a nice detail
Pic.3: The front of the shirt! This one is without buttons! I pinned it on the inside! I'm working on those buttons though! And as you can see, I made a matching bow tie.
I love the fact that you can see the shoulder detail from the front!
Pic.4: That one was just for fun! Just so I could make a 4-picture collage!

Close up of the matching bow tie! The picture was taken with my camera so you can see the color pallet more clearly
The second thing I made was a pair of shorts!
I didn't put as much time in it as I would've wanted to but it turned out great! I wanted a high waist but I got tired of sewing (cause everything is done by hand) so I took the easy way out and made this black belt! It's a shame you can't really see the details on the fabric because of the quality of the picture!
I really didn't feel like taking my camera to take pictures! I'm sorry for that!
